The purpose of the Ignite International, Inc. (the organization, from here forward referred to as "Ignite") Donor Privacy policy is to protect the integrity of the mission and vision to which the organization has been called. Protecting the privacy of each of our donors is a high priority and a promise that we commit to our financial and agency partners.
PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY WE COLLECT IT The Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information as used in Ignite's Privacy Statement, the phrase "personally identifiable information" is personal information that identifies a specific natural person and means: (a) a first and last name; (b) an address, including a street name, city or town, and zip code (but excluding a post office box); (c) an e-mail address; (d) a telephone number; and/or, (e) an account number or credit card number (including but not limited to, banking account and routing numbers). In Ignite's Privacy Statement, the phrase "personally identifiable information" is abbreviated as "PII".
Ignite is the owner of all PII that is collected by Ignite on Ignite's website or via our third-party donation processing platform. Ignite may collect PII from users, customers, and in responses to online surveys and group discussions at several different points on Ignite's website or via our third-party donation processing platform.
Ignite will not sell, trade or rent PII to other organizations in ways that are different from what is disclosed in this Privacy Statement.
Ignite may use PII to contact the user about Ignite, the goods and services available on Ignite's website, and to provide information about other topics and discussion groups.
Ignite may disclose PII to third parties as required or permitted by law.
Ignite may share aggregated demographic information that does not contain PII.
COMMENTS When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

CONTACT FORMS Contact form information given is only stored and used internally.

ANALYTICS Ignite's website uses IP addresses to help Ignite analyze trends, administer Ignite's website, track user movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use, but do not contain PII.
WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH If you donate with us through an online form, that data is then shared and stored on the platforms Donor Box (
privacy policy) and Managed Missions (
privacy policy) if you register for an Ignite trip via MM.
Designated contributions to the support of Ignite's program services are greatly appreciated and a receipt will be issued for all deductible gifts for tax purposes. However, if a particular need is over-funded, we will discontinue solicitations for that need, and otherwise designated funds may, at the discretion and direction of the Board of Directors and Leadership Team, be redirected and applied to cover: 1) similar projects that are still under-funded, and 2) broader projects or needs that fall within the mission and vision purposes of Ignite International.
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
We retain your donation information and trip registration indefinitely on our secure server. If we ever see fit to delete any information it will be done through a secure process.
WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA Ignite International, Inc. retains the right to the data that has been submitted to our website. If at any point you no longer want us to store any of your information, you may request that it be deleted through our server.
WHERE WE SEND YOUR DATA Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Additional information HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA - We will not sell, share or trade our donors' names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.
